Starter collaborates with Pull&Bear, to develop Autumn/Winter 2021 range to celebrate the iconic sports brand’s 50th anniversary.

Starter celebrates 50 years of the renowned ‘S-Star’ logo, continuing to provide strong and credible authenticity: Starter, Look for the Star!

To mark this momentous occasion, Iconix Europe LLC, the European arm of one of the world’s premier brand management companies Iconix Brand Group have teamed up with Inditex’s youth fashion brand, Pull&Bear, to present the Starter x Pull&Bear Autumn/Winter ‘21 capsule collection, honouring the famous sports brand’s 50th Anniversary.

It all began with an iconic star logo and the idea that “Every athlete dreams of being a starting player.” But Starter didn’t stop at athletes, extending across cultural lines, drawing influence from sport, music and pop culture. This range has been created with the aim of combining streetwear with athleisure sportswear for a younger fashion forward demographic. A prominent two-tone theme runs throughout the collection, showcased with a two-tone denim jacket, a patchwork shirt and an oversized cardigan finished with a logo patch.

The centerpiece of the offering is the Starter classic varsity jacket, which has been updated with multiple embroidered Starter 50th anniversary logos patches. Standout pieces include the tone-on-tone raincoat with an oversize fit; faux shearling in the form of a pull-over with a pouch pocket and a second version with a zip fastening which gives a nod to the latest trends. The collection also offers sweatshirt and jogging trouser co-ords, all of which feature pile embroidered logos. To complete the look, Pull&Bear have developed a comprehensive selection of accessories, including baseball caps, beanies, and socks. The colour story features rich forest green, black, and white tones, and each piece is produced in a variety of materials, volumes and textures.

This collection will be available in Europe/UK markets, both online at and in a selected group of stores.

Umbro and Rowing Blazers Team Up for a Capsule Collection

Youthful and irreverent clothing brand Rowing Blazers has announced a collaboration with leading football (soccer) apparel and equipment brand Umbro. The two brands come together for a limited-edition twelve-piece collection that will be sold exclusively on the Greenhouse app, at select Foot Locker locations, and at

The twelve-piece capsule features three classic Umbro styles – soccer jerseys, field jackets, and soccer shorts – reimagined with iconic Rowing Blazers signature patterns and fabrics including its trademark croquet stripe, the gun club check house tweed pattern, navy/red zig-zag stripe, and a classic Gordon Modern tartan. Each of the Rowing Blazers x Umbro Jerseys feature design details including the Rowing Blazers logo in the sponsor logo placement and Jack Carlson’s personal coat of arms, granted to him by the College of Arms in London — with references to his time on the national rowing team, career in classical archaeology, and his childhood dog. The collection also includes a croquet stripe Rowing Blazers x Umbro soccer ball.

We (Rowing Blazers) don’t normally blast our logo on product, but to see Rowing Blazers in the sponsor logo placement on an Umbro jersey was too good to pass up,” says Jack Carlson, founder of Rowing Blazers. “I grew up with Umbro. Living in England as a little kid in the early ‘90s, it was the weekend uniform. “During the week, the school blazer was quite literally the uniform. Umbro was innovative in creating patterned soccer jerseys. Their sublimated geometric patterns, the creative use of stripes, even tartan — and of course their famous checkerboard design — have always been inspiring to me. I collect soccer jerseys too, and love wearing the funkier ones. A good, collared soccer jersey in an unusual pattern often beats a polo… And I basically live-in soccer shorts when it’s warm out. It’s an honor to be collaborating with such a legendary name on this Rowing Blazers tribute to The Beautiful Game.”

The Rowing Blazers x Umbro collection, retailing for $80.00-$250.00, will be available exclusively at and Greenhouse app on March 26th, and will see a wider release at Foot Locker stores and online on April 2nd. All sizes are unisex and range from S – XXL.
